THE LAYOUT

One window, six places

Almost everything happens in the same window. Once you know the six places below, you can find a setting, a job, or a waiting question without hunting.

The six places

1 · LEFT SIDEBAR

Your screens

Queue, Needs you, History, and Discover are in the first group. Profile and Settings sit under You. The account menu, Send feedback, and the collapse button are at the bottom.

Needs you only appears when something is waiting, or while it is open. The number beside Queue is how many jobs are waiting.

2 · MAIN SCREEN

The page for the screen you picked

Each screen follows the same shape: a small label, a heading, a one-line description, then the content. On Queue and History, a selected job opens a detail panel on the right.

3 · RIGHT PANEL

The job or draft you selected

On Queue, the panel shows the job's state, the documents it will use, ways to draft a cover letter or email, and the posting details. On History, it shows the stage, timeline, what was sent, and documents. Close it with the small ×.

4 · BOTTOM BAR

The queue controls, on every screen

Left: the job in hand and the queue summary. Centre: Stop after this one, then Start applying or Pause. Right: whether applications wait for you or are submitted automatically.

5 · MENU BAR ICON

When the app is in the background

The tray icon in the macOS menu bar shows whether the app is working. From it you can open the window, pause, stop after the current job, check for updates, send feedback, or quit and stop browser work.

6 · ACCOUNT MENU

Identity, updates, and sign-out

At the foot of the sidebar: your name and email, whether the worker is connected, Check for Updates…, Copy Version Details, the version label, and Sign Out. Signing out keeps the workspace on this Mac.
