ROLES MATCHED TO YOU
Discover
A feed of postings ranked against your confirmed profile. Pick one to see why it fits, what it asks for that you do not have, and the pay. Then add it to the queue or leave it.
Filters
The filter row sits above the list. Each change saves to your account, so it is there next time.
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Remote / Hybrid / On-site | Work-mode chips. More than one can be on at a time. |
| Roles | Chooses the kinds of role you want to see. The options come from the feed. |
| Countries | Restricts postings by country. |
| Regions | Restricts by US state or region. |
| Saved | Shows only postings you bookmarked. |
If filters hide everything, the empty state offers Clear filters. The round-arrow button on the right checks for new jobs now.
Reading the list
Each row has:
- A fit score on the left. It is a percentage of the posting's requirements that your profile meets.
- The title, company, place, and work mode.
- A line like Matches 7 of 8 requirements, when the posting lists requirements.
- Pay, when the posting publishes it.
- A bookmark button to save the posting for later.
If your profile is not confirmed, match scores and requirement counts are hidden and the list says to confirm your profile. The postings still appear; the ranking just cannot be trusted yet.
The detail panel
Click a row to open it. The panel has four parts:
Why it fits
Specific evidence from your profile, one line per requirement it meets. If nothing matches, the panel says so instead of inventing a reason.
Worth knowing
Requirements it asks for that are not on your profile, things the posting does not say, and any filter that would exclude it. Read this before applying.
Job description
The full description, when the feed has it. View posting opens the original page.
Actions
Add to queue sends it to Queue. The optional Also draft an email to the recruiter queues the job with an outreach draft; it is sent only after a verified submission and only if Gmail can send.
Save for later, Not for me, and Prepare documents are below it. Prepare documents opens the job in Queue so you can draft a résumé, cover letter, or email without applying.
New jobs
Discover fetches new postings when you open it if the account has never synced or the last sync is old. A manual check is the round-arrow button. The footer says what the last check did, such as Sync complete: 12 changes imported. A failed sync backs off instead of retrying constantly.
Adding a job to the queue does not start it. It waits in Queue until the queue is started, whether by you or by auto-start.
Saved and dismissed
Save keeps a posting in the Saved filter. It does not queue it and does not imply interest to the employer. Not for me dismisses it and removes it from the feed. The footer offers Undo for the last dismissal.
Saved and dismissed decisions are stored with the account, so they survive relaunches.
